Dream Tinggi bercerita tentang enam siswa di Sekolah Menengah Seni Kirin yang bekerja untuk mencapai impian mereka menjadi bintang musik dalam industri musik Korea. Go Hye Mi is a student who had majored in classical music but has to give up her dream by entering Kirin Art High School to pay off her father's debt. Go Hye Mi adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil jurusan musik klasik tetapi harus menyerah mimpinya dengan memasukkan Kirin Seni High School untuk melunasi utang ayahnya. However, she needs to get two other students to also come to the school in order for her to enroll in the school conditionally. Namun, dia perlu mendapatkan dua siswa lain untuk juga datang ke sekolah dalam rangka baginya untuk mendaftar di sekolah kondisional. These two students are Song Sam Dong, who lives in the countryside, and Jin Guk, whom she accidentally meets while trying to escape from a loan shark. Kedua siswa Song Sam Dong, yang tinggal di pedesaan, dan Jin Guk, yang ia sengaja bertemu ketika mencoba melarikan diri dari rentenir. Yoon Baek Hee, formerly Hyemi's sidekick, becomes her rival in school because Hye Mi betrays her during an audition to enter the school.
